Two Qualities of Consistent Prayer

Prayer Points:
Take time to practice two of the 12 steps: watching and interceding. Be silent for a few moments and observe in your heart a circumstance or individual needing intercessory prayer. Then, verbally intercede for that need.

Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place… Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. — Matthew 6:6 (MSG)

“Room” (NKJV), “Closet” (KJV), and “Secluded place” (MSG) are from the Greek TAMEION.

TAMEION defined:
1. “Storage room for foodstuffs” (nourishment)
2. “Bed chamber” (intimacy)

1. Abraham

Scripture:
Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the LORD. — Genesis 19:27 (NIV)
